Darren L. Embry is the founding member and managing partner of the Law Offices of Darren L. Embry. Born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Darren is a graduate of Grayson County High School, the University of Kentucky and the University of Kentucky College of Law.

While at the University of Kentucky, Darren first obtained his Bachelors Degree where he received numerous scholarships and graduated magna cum laude. He then attended the University of Kentucky College of Law where

treatise, "Federal Arbitration Law: Agreements, Awards and Remedies Under the Federal Arbitration Act" (Little Brown & Co. 1994) (now Aspen Publishing). He further assisted Professor Stipanowich in research for several articles and publications on the future of arbitration and the availability of punitive damage awards.

Darren began his legal career in Atlanta, Georgia but quickly realized that his heart and career were in the Bluegrass State. Prior to opening this firm, Darren was an associate with Reinhardt & Associates, PLC in Lexington,
KY. A former member of the Kentucky Defense Counsel, he has represented several of the Commonwealth's largest insurance companies, in addition to a variety of other clients in over 70 of this states 120 counties.

While also managing a rather large transactional law practice, Darren is a trial lawyer. Darren has participated in over 100 administrative, bench and jury trials. Dividing his practice equally between Plaintiff and Defense cases, Darren most recently represented 17 Plaintiffs at Mediation and achieved a successful settlement against Martin County Coal Company stemming from the largest environmental disaster in the history of the Eastern United States. Among other distinctions, Darren is approved counsel for Gulf Insurance Company, The Kentucky Retail Federation, and the Kentucky Assosciation of Professional Educators.
